The Japanese Corner:
Cultural Communication between Chinese and Japanese Studetns
By Zhan Jingshi
The Japanese Corner was held in the Library lobby at 6 p.m. on March 17, Mr. Wataru Sato, Mr. Hiromasa Meguro and Ms. Kayoko Matsushima attended it.
In addition to three teachers, the new exchang students from Japan also came here. They planned to study in China for half a year. The exchange students talked a lot about why they came to China and their life and study in Japan. Students from the School of Foreign Languages as well as the School of Education enjoyed a good time with them.
Mr. Wataru Sato, Mr. Hiromasa Meguro and Ms. Kayoko Matsushima mainly talked about the cultural differences between China and Japan.
When talking about the school life and social life, the conversation became very interesting——Ms. Kayoko Matsushima, who has stayed in China for many years was often misunderstood by the Chinese people and the Japanese people as a Chinese.
The Japanese Corner provides a place for students to practice their oral Japanese. Therefore, it is a good choice to join it every Tuesday night.
