English majors of 2011 and Japanese majors of 2011 both excelled in the national exam of language proficiency test. 212 English majors of 2011 sat for the TEM4 inApril, 2013 and had a pass rate of 77.83%, 26.46% higher than the national average of all colleges and universities, and 42.26% higher than the national average of all independent colleges. 80 Japanese majors of 2011 sat for the TJM4 inJune, 2013, and had a pass rate of 68.75%, 15.65% higher than the national average of all colleges and universities.
