BNUZ Movies Nights:Shaun of the Dead

At 19:00 on April 21, 2011, the distinctive activity “BNUZ Movies Nights” was held in Liyun Building Room A207. Mr. Tim Musgrave, an overseas teacher from the Faculty of Foreign Languages (FFL), showed a movie entitled ‘Shaun of the Dead’ to students.
‘Shaun of the Dead ’is a 2004 British romantic zombie comedy which was directed by Edgar Weight, starring Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, and written by Pegg and Wright. Pegg plays Shaun, a man attempting to get some kind of focus in his life as he deals with his girlfriend, his mother and stepfather. At the same time, he has to cope with an apocalyptic uprising of zombies. Fortunately, Six months later, all of the uninfected have returned to daily life, and the remaining zombies, retaining their instincts, are used as cheap labour and entertainment.
After the movie, Mr. Musgrave exchanged ideas with students. Due to this activity, students strengthened their understanding of the culture of English speaking countries. They said they looked forward to the next Movies Nights.
