Three students from the Faculty of Foreign Languages of BNUZ-- Tang Ying, Zhang Liang and Wang Can, represented the university to participate in the Guangdong and Hainan Division Competition of the 1st “China Translation Cup” National Interpretation Competition held in Guangdong University of Foreign Studies on June 26th, 2010. Altogether 40 contestants from 16 universities participated in the competition. The three contestants from the Faculty of Foreign Languages proved their excellence: Tang Ying and Wang Can both won the Third Prize and Zhang Liang won the outstanding prize. The achievement made by the three contestants demonstrates their competitiveness in this high-level competition as well as the outstanding teaching level of the faculty.
