演讲人：Mr. William Weatherly

William holds a B.A. in English Literature from the University of the Pacific and M.A. from San Francisco State University with a focus on American Literature. Before he became a teacher, he worked in a variety of sales and marketing ventures in the US. He enjoys travel and learning about different cultures.

There are a variety of approaches that Americans will use to persuade others that are, in fact, uniquely American. Many of these methods of persuasion are well known to people who conduct business in the US (these methods are now an integral part of the American business culture). However, they are not well understood by the uninitiated. In this lecture, William will investigate what some of these methods of persuasion are and provide a brief review of their development.
