I was raised in Houston, Texas* and lived there for most of my life. Houston is located in the southern part of the United States of America and it borders Mexico and the Gulf of Mexico on it''s southern coast.

After completing J.L. McCullough High School, I attended and graduated from Texas Tech University with a Liberal Arts degree in Economics and Political Science. At that point, I was determined to be an airline pilot so I went to flight school until I became licensed by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) as a commercial pilot (fixed-wing aircraft).

When I came back down to earth, literally, I decided to get what my family referred to as a "real job". Having grown up in an "oil family", my natural direction was to follow in their footsteps. I began trading crude oil and natural gas futures on the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) and instantly developed a true passion for the business. In 2001, however, upon the implosion of Enron, which was the largest corporate bankruptcy in American history at the time (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enron_scandal), and after working for several years in the oil and gas industry, I decided to change directions once again and further my education by pursuing and completing a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) degree in Global Management / International Business.

While completing graduate studies, I became involved in real estate finance and quickly realized a trend in the mortgage lending industry which led me to create and develop Wilson Property Investments whereby I was able to purchase large blocks of condominiums, furnish them, and then lease them to corporate travelers.

Since childhood, in my spare time, I have been heavily involved in yacht racing and many other activities that are carried out on the beautiful oceans of the world.

I am rooted in what are known as the Greatest Commandments... Love your Creator, Love your fellow man, and Love yourself. This guides my approach to life. If we honor the Creator, we must honor every human being, including ourselves.

*Houston is the largest city in the state of Texas. It is also the 4th largest in the United States. Houston is home to the most Fortune-Global 500 headquarters in the US, only behind New York City. Some of the companies are as follows: ConocoPhillips, Shell Oil Company, Anadarko Petroleum, Baker Hughes Incorporated , Halliburton, Continental Airlines, etc. Houston is also home to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). On July 20, 1969, "Houston" was the first word ever to be spoken on the moon.
