Teaching Background:

China: I taught Academic Writing classes to freshmen, Presentations to upperclassmen and Business Writing and Western Culture classes to graduate students at Beihang University in Beijing.

South Korea: I taught Business Leadership and Introduction to Business courses at Kyung Hee and Dongguk Universities in Seoul. I taught Freshman English classes at Mokwon University and Hanbat University in Daejon. I taught Business English, Leadership, Economic Development and Culture classes to Graduate students at Hanyang Graduate School of International Studies. I taught summer camps for Daejon Girls High School, Dongguk University and Renault Samsung. During mornings and evenings I taught several business classes and occasional weekend seminars for LG, Hyundai, Samsung and SK industries. I wrote and managed grants for Collier County Government to promote residential and business recycling and proper disposal of Household Chemicals. I wrote several ESOL Recycling Power Points and documents at www.davejaye.com. I worked in several local and state government positions in Michigan.

Business Background:

I helped run several family businesses including a boat rental, shooting range and park grill. I sold homes and provide Import/Export and Tax and Regulatory Consulting.

Personal: I spend winters in my beach condo in Bonita Springs, Florida and summers in my S.E. Michigan home and Northern Michigan. I was born in Detroit, Michigan. I attended Catholic and Public Schools in Michigan. Most of my family lives in S.E. Michigan and spends winters in Florida. I enjoy kayaking, fishing, hunting, sport diving, snorkeling, sailing, mushroom hunting, fossil hunting, traveling, disc golf and jogging. I run 6 km three times a week in Zhuhai and farther during more mild weather. I enjoy listening to audio classical novels and classical music.
