The English Corner was held in the lobby of the library on May 14. Mr. Martin Stannard, Mr. Leck Wall, Mr. Christopher Dockstader and Mr. Sean McHugh attended the English Corner.

People’s day-to-day life is filled with happiness, sadness and embarrassment. What is more, people would feel embarassed for some of stupid things. When it came to “the most embarrassing thing in your daily life”, both teachers and students had a lot of interesting stories to tell.

Mr. Leck Wall shared with students that when he was in high school, he joined in a lip-synch race, finally he won the championship. And he was so happy and boastful, but unfortunately ,when he took off his T-shirt, his arms got struck. Mr. Christopher Dockstader told the students how he fell down from the stair on a rainy day. All the students burst into laughter. Among the students, a girl shared that she was not allowed to go to the lady’s room because she looked like a boy with her short hair when she was a child.
